7th ESA Training Course on Radar Remote Sensing

APPLICATION
Registration
The course is dedicated to researchers, MSc level (or close to completion) students, PhD students, and young professionals from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia (PECS/Plan for European Cooperating States) that use EO technology within their daily work and would like to improve their knowledge of radar remote sensing.
Research scientists and students from all other countries are also welcome to apply and participate in the course subject to space availability.
Participation is limited to a maximum of 35 students and subject to a selection process.
Minimum requirements
Minimum requirements for participants to register for the courses:
- To have the basis of Remote Sensing (RS) and/or Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- To have a good level of English, at least B1 ranked by European language levels
- To have a good level of computer skills
The Course is open to researchers, MSc (or close to completion) students, PhD level students, young professionals.
Application
Application should consist of:
- CV including information about your nationality, date of birth, academic background, work experience, language skills, university/faculty or institute details
- A motivation letter explaining the reason of your interest to attend the course

Language
The official language of the course is English. Participants should have a good level of English, in order to be able to follow the course.
Fees
No participation fees will be charged for the training but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses (financial support is not available). Course materials, tea and coffee breaks will be provided by the organisers.
